Smart Select is tools attached to existing polygons. This tool allows you to select points, lines or polygons inside or outside the selected polygon and perform several actions such as:
Change Color
This will change color of all selected data.
Change Name
This will rename all selected data with the specified name.
Add Notes
This will add / embed notes to all selected data.
Count
This will count number of all selected data.
Delete
This will permanently delete all selected data (do with cautions)
Export To File
This will export all selected data to a file (KML / DXF). (Available on Ver. 3.6.5 and above)
The Smart Select tools can be found in the Map Coordinates module, Marker Map modules, Buffer/Overlay and Area/Distance module. The following video explains how to select points inside/outside a polygon using the Smart Select Tools:
